Maine's Newest Chess Club: VFW Post 4298 Dexter

02.18.17 Learning of the many benefits of chess for seniors and veterans, the Commander of the Shirley B. Carter VFW Post 4298 in Dexter, Maine, David Iverson, reached out to ChessMaine.net for support, advice, and technical assistance in establishing a chess club at the Post. The club has come into being and meets at the VFW Post at 20 Cedar Street in Dexter on Friday nights from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. For more information see our Clubs page or contact David directly at vfwpost4298@gmail.com.
