03.14.08 The Elementary, Junior High and High School Team State Championships will take place tomorrow, Saturday, March 15th as scheduled in the University of Maine, Orono Memorial Union. Coaches and Parents: If you will be delayed due to weather please communicate with your respective tournament leader (contact information is provided below)--you may request a 1/2-point bye for the first round. We look forward to a great day for traditionally the largest chess tournament on the Maine calendar.

The Scholastic Championship for Girls has been rescheduled to Saturday, March 22nd and will take place in Shibles Hall Room 201. Shibles Hall houses the College of Education and is just a two-minute walk from the Memorial Union. The Scholastic Individuals tournament is scheduled for March 29th.
