Maine Chess Association Call for Nominations
09.21.26 The Maine Chess Association is now accepting nominations for all four officer positions and all four director positions for the 2026 election cycle, which begins on November 1, 2026. All officer positions are electable to two-year terms, and all director positions are electable to one-year terms.
The Maine Chess Association is in need of help from its membership. Please consider giving back to the Maine chess community by running for a board spot, an officer position, or by joining a committee. If you have questions about a particular role or are interested in a nomination in this year's upcoming board election, please contact MECA president Wyatt Hendrix at whendrix@chessmaine.org.
Nominations must be in by September 28, 2026, and do not require a second. Thank you!
