Maine Chess Player of the Year Final Standings
03.19.2026 The Maine Chess Association would like to share the results of the 2025 Maine Chess Player of the Year awards. The CPY is a program that rewards both performance and participation, with the goal of encouraging players to attend as many events as possible. And there was a lot of participation this year; we're very thankful for everyone who competed in Maine tournaments.

In first place this year was Tobias Coffey, who played events in all corners of the state, congratulations to Tobias! In second place was Wyatt Hendrix, and in third Will Ravn. Both Wyatt and Will had a very strong year, playing in a lot of tournaments, and also scoring very highly overall.
