ChessMaine 1: Maine Chess Hall of Fame Nominations

12.30.24 Outgoing Maine Chess Association president, J. Paul Ciarrocchi, invites MECA members to nominate potential inductees into the Maine Chess Hall of Fame. Nominees and their background information in support of their nominations can be sent to MECA board members (email addresses can be found HERE.) The MECA board will review nominations and vote on their possible inclusion.

J. Paul Ciarrocchi writes: One of my priorities when I joined the Maine Chess Association board was to establish a Maine Chess Hall of Fame to honor those individuals who have contributed significantly to the rich history of Maine chess. Currently there are twelve inductees. Reading through their histories is both illuminating and inspiring!
