04.17.23 Former Maine Chess Association president Michael Dudley has a variety of chess equipment available for sale at very reduced prices. Take a look at the descriptions and images below and contact Mike at mdudley@chessmaine.org if you would like more information or to purchase. Update: All equipment has sold except for the wooden Fischer-Spassky Commemorative sets which have been reduced further to $200.

Here is a list of equipment for sale:
1) Four House of Staunton Fischer-Spassky Commemorative half-sets in boxwood, ebonized boxwood, rosewood, and purple heart. Ebonized boxwood set has a broken knight. Sets come in two slidetop House of Staunton boxes. The set currently sells for $180 on HoS, and the boxes sell for $80 apiece; selling the whole set for $250. Buyer must take the whole set.

2) (6 available) 4.25" king, plastic triple-weighted Collector Staunton set in green bag with blue US Chess vinyl boards. Equivalent package retails for $42 on USCF Sales; selling each set for $20 apiece.

3) (4 available) Tap and Set Digital Clocks, capable of increment, delay, and multiple time controls. Clocks are 2.5 years old and have seen light tournament use. Note: Android or iOS app required on a smartphone with NFC capability needed to operate the tapping function; otherwise the clocks can be set manually! Retails for $50 on USCF Sales; selling each clock for $25.

4) Several vinyl boards and plastic sets available. Vinyl boards $2, sets $2.

5) (1 available) Demonstration board in green and white with black and red pieces. Retails on USCF Sales for $25; selling the set for $10.

If interested in purchase, contact Michael Dudley at mdudley@chessmaine.org. Buyer pays shipping cost, which will be negotiated on purchase. I am also willing to drive equipment to any buyer within three hours of Bangor/Brewer.
Thanks for your consideration!
