06.07.22 Pawn Wise: The Atlantic All-Ages Chess Festival 2022 will take place at St. Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia from July 29- August 2. The Festival offers the Mayflower Open, the Canadian Seniors Championships (65+ and 50+), and Jack de la Torre from the University of Texas as keynote speaker. In addition, a specially commissioned Nova Scotia Commemorative Chess Set will be on display as well as first editions of Andre Philidor's Tabular Demonstrations (1819) and The Hastings Chess Tournament Book (1896). American players are welcomed to participate.
