Kate Gasser Classic Swiss Tournament Report

05.07.22 On April 16, 2022, the first running of the Kate Gasser Classic Swiss took place at Curtis Memorial Library in Brunswick, Maine. Named for a frequent presence in the US Women's Championship and member of the Boylston Chess Club, the Gasser Swiss is a Swiss tournament open only to girls and women and is meant to celebrate the presence of female players on the tournament scene in Maine and elsewhere.
