Wyatt Hendrix Wins New Hampshire Amateur

11.21.21 Maine Chess Association's own Wyatt Hendrix took first at the 2021 New Hampshire Amateur tournament played on November 6, 2021 in Manchester, NH. In a field of twenty-six players in the Championship section, Hendrix scored a perfect four points in four rounds--that's undefeated and untied. We congratulate Wyatt on this tournament victory and for representing Maine so ably.

On his way to the championship, Hendrix defeated Paul Baginski (1695), Vihaan Jain (1755), Jonas Hamilton (1477), and Claude Fried (1976).

There were two other Mainers that competed in this tournament: Aaron Spencer and Michael Dudley.

Spencer put up 1.5 points for equal 15th place in the Championship section. Dudley, competing in the Intermediate section, scored 3.0 points in four rounds for equal second place.
