ChessMaine: George Cunningham Brilliancy Prize Announcement

09.18.21 On account of the number of games played in the second quarter of 2021, the George Cunningham Brilliancy Prize committee will consider two prizes for games played between April 1 and September 30, 2021!

Have you played a brilliant game of chess lately? Email your game to the Maine Chess Association for consideration for a George Cunningham Brilliancy Prize!

Two $50 prizes will be awarded for two brilliant games played by Maine players during this time. The games can be played in any format, and either in-state or out-of-state. Send your brilliant games to any MECA board member for consideration! A decision will be made on these prizes by the second week of October.
