06.28.21 The Maine Chess Association congratulates Wyatt Hendrix on winning the first George Cunningham Brilliancy Prize of 2021, for his game against Aaron Spencer in the 2020 Maine State Championship.

A note that the Brilliancy Prize committee decided to evaluate multiple games from before the first quarter of 2021, in order to give games played before the re-establishment of the prizes a chance to be seen. Wyatt wins a prize of $50 for his game, which is posted >> HERE >>

The next George Cunningham Brilliancy Prize will be awarded to a member in good standing for games played in April, May, and June of 2021. Submit your games to any member of the Maine Chess Association Policy Board for consideration!
