01.10.21 Gratefully riding the coattails of the new Maine Online High School Chess League, MECA Director Kate Ervin will simultaneously be organizing a league for middle school teams this winter. This is FREE to all participating schools.

Teams shall be 5 players in size for each weekly match, but it need not be the same 5 players each week. Additionally, if a middle school team cannot recruit 5 players, it is permissible to fill the additional slots with elementary school players from the same district.
