11.10.20 The Maine Chess Association (MECA) is holding its annual Board Election from December 1 to December 31, 2020. During this election, all four Director positions and all four Officer positions (President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer) are up for consideration.

In order to vote in any MECA election, you must be a member in good standing, with a membership expiration date no later than December 31, 2020. If you want to know what your current membership status is, contact MECA Secretary Wyatt Hendrix at igmwhendrix@gmail.com.

To renew your membership, head to the MECA Online Store at maine-chess-association.square.site; yearly membership dues are $12 for an adult membership and $6 for a student membership. A lifetime membership is $240.

In order to nominate someone to run for a MECA position, any MECA member in good standing can submit a nomination to any current MECA board member. Please see their email addresses below. These nominations should be submitted no later than November 30, 2020, for consideration in the election.
