04.08.20 Maine Chess Association Secretary and 2019 Maine State Chess Champion Wyatt Hendrix is hosting two online tournaments on Chess.com on Friday, April 10th at 6:00 p.m. eastern and Saturday, April 18th at 3:00 p.m. eastern as well as an online Zoom lecture on Tuesday, April 14th at 5:00 p.m. eastern. Online rapid tournament on Chess.com. This will be four rounds of G/15 +5. It will start at 6:00 p.m., and should end by 8:00 p.m. at the latest.

Tuesday, April 14th, 2020. 5:00 p.m. eastern

Zoom lecture. This will start at 5:00 p.m. and will run for close to 90 minutes, but you can stay for just part of it if you want. 2019 Maine Chess Champion will give a lecture viar Zoom. Anyone is welcome to attend, but it will be most instructive for those close to 1000 and up to probably 1500. If you or your kids are sub 1000 it is probably fine for them too, many of those in the 800-900s range are often underrated and are really closer to 1000 in strength. If you would like to join this lecture please email me ahead of time and I will email you the Zoom link on Tuesday, just before it starts.

USCF rated Online rapid tournament on Chess.com. This will be four rounds of G/25 +5 and will affect your USCF online rating (not your over the board/normal rating). You must have current US Chess membership to play in this event. It will start at 3:00 p.m. eastern.
