Deaflympics Team Chess Rounds 1-3
12.16.19 The Team Chess Competition at the 2019 Winter Deaflympics has begun. Team USA lost a close match with Belarus in Round 1 by the score of 1.5-2.5. Board 2 for the US Team scored first vs Italy in Round 2 but the other three boards unfortunately dropped their points to a well-prepared Italian team. We received a bye in Round 3. Today it's USA vs Uzbekistan in Round 4 of the nine round tournament.
