11.11.19 Bold.org, an online student scholarship platform where anyone can create a customized scholarship, fellowship, or grant, has created a $1,000 One Move Ahead Chess Scholarship available to Maine students. Dror Liebenthal the co-founder and CEO of Bold.org writes, "We are awarding $1,000 in scholarship funding to chess players at any education level whose experience playing chess has influenced their life/career goals in some way."

The One Move Ahead Chess Scholarship is available to all students in high school and above.

Dror Liebenthal continues, "The One Move Ahead Chess Scholarship celebrates chess for its ability to teach us planning and foresight, winning and losing, and the consequences of our actions. Chess players at any education level High School and above are invited to apply."
