In Memory: Shelby Lyman (1936-2019)
08.29.19 Shelby Lyman, the chess master who hosted a popular show on live television as it followed the historic world championship chess match between Bobby Fischer and Boris Spassky, died on Aug. 11 in Johnson City, N.Y. He was 82. We extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends.
