09.22.18 Six players competed in the Houlton Invitational Chess Tournament played at the Art Studio in Houlton on Saturday, September 22, 2018. Roger Morin went undefeated with two wins and two draws to take first place. Cynthia Cui and Ray Haines tied for second with 2.5 points apiece. US Chess crosstable of this event

Two draws and to wins for 3.0 points were enough to put Roger Morin at the top of the crosstable at the Houlton Invitational Chess Tournament. Second place was shared by Cynthia Cui and Ray Haines who both dropped one game and drew another to finish with 2.5 points.

Leonardo Cui held onto sole fourth place with 2.0 points while both Lance Beloungie and Roger Hardison scored 1.0 for equal fifth.
