ChessMaine: Alan Schalk Simul Draws Eight Players

09.07.18 National Chess Master and two-time Maine State Chess Champion Alan Schalk will held a free Simultaneous Chess Exhibition at the Wagon Wheel Campground in Old Orchard Beach on Sunday, September 2, 2018. Eight players were brave enough to test their mettle against the master. The results were a convincing 7-1 in favor of Schalk.

Eight players turned out for the NM Alan Schalk simul held at the Wagon Wheel Campground in Old Orchard Beach on Sunday, September 2, 2018.

Schalk scored seven wins and one loss against the field.
