The Brooklin School is First Beneficiary of CiMS Initiative
09.30.17 We are delighted to report that the Brooklin School, located on the Blue Hill Peninsula in Hancock County Maine, is the first school to benefit from the Chess in Maine Schools Initiative. The school will receive tournament-quality chess sets, roll-up boards, bags, digital chess clocks, a 550-page Common-Core-aligned chess curriculum, twenty ChessKid.com year-long memberships, and ongoing technical support in establishing and maintaining a scholastic chess program.
