In Quad 2, Barry Magda was the only player not top ranked to win his quad with 5.0 - 1.0. John Phythyon scored 4.0 - 2.0 for second.

Quad 3 saw the venerable seniors Jon Malev and Alex Wallach pitted against Cheverus High School teammates Aidan Thomas and Brian Conti. Malev scored 5.0 - 1.0 losing only one game to Thomas to take first place. Thomas scored 4.0 - 2.0 for second place.

In Quad 4, top seeded Nathan Dunn (USCF 845) was the only player with a rating at the start. Two new USCF members, Cyrus Fenderson and Declan Thomas as well as Sebastian Ponce, were playing in their first tournament. Experience prevailed here as Dunn swept the field with 6 - 0. Fenderson and Ponce tied for second with 3.0 - 3.0.

Thanks to tournament director Phil Lowell for offering this free-entry-fee tournament while still offering prizes. We hope this will become an annual event!
