World Chess Championship Coming to New York

03.03.16 The World Chess Federation announced that the World Championship Match between Magnus Carlsen and a challenger, to be determined at the Candidates Tournament played later this month in Moscow, will take place in New York City from November 11th - November 30th, 2016. Two Americans, Hikaru Nakamura and Fabiano Caruana, are competing in the eight-player Candidates and have a decent chance to be Carlsen's challenger. The twelve-game World Championship Match will be simulcast on the Internet.

The World Chess Championship will be played in a to-be-determined venue in New York City from November 11th - November 30th, 2016
