UMA Spring Quads Tournament Report

03.12.15 Four players competed in a "Super Quad" at the University of Maine at Augusta on Saturday, March 7th. Jarod Bryan came out on top with a perfect 3.0 points and William Ravn, Curt Brock, and Barry Magda all shared second place with 1.0 point. Four tournament stalwarts turned out for the UMA Spring Quads on March 7th--the same day as the State Scholastic Chess Championships at the University of Maine at Orono. Current state Champion Jarod Bryan cruised to a perfect 3.0 points in as many games and the other three players traded punches to come out with a single point apiece.

This tournament was organized and directed by Brian Roderic and Barry Magda. Thanks to the University of Maine at Augusta for hosting.
