On July 19, 2014, the Human Chess Game at the Festival was held. A loud and raucous field of 32 participants supported their captains Ray Haines, playing black, and Roger Hardison playing white. Each of the participants received an imprinted tee shirt designating their respective piece. This is the twenty-second year the human game was presented with several participants returning from previous years.

Thanks to all for making the tournament and the human game a continued success!
