05.04.14 Here's an updated newsletter from our friends at the Maine Chess Academy in Portland. The Academy is making great strides promoting chess in Maine. Two highlights of their activities are meetings with Portland City Counselor Ed Suslovik and Portland Public Schools Superintendent Manny Caulk as well as a planned Chess Festival at the Portland Expo on June 7th.
