Mainers at the Boston University Open
12.08.11 Eight Maine players competed in the Boston University Open played on November 5th, 2011 in the Geroge Sherman Union at the Universtiy's Charles River Campus. Cape Elizabeth High School student, *, topped the U1900 section with a perfect score of 4.0 points in four games.

In an impressive display at the Boston University Open, * stunned the field in the U1900 section scoring a clean-sweep 4.0 points in as many games. Seeded squarely in the middle of the pack at the outset of the tournament with a USCF rating of 1679, DiNinno acheived a master's performance rating of USCF 2200. Congratulations Ethan on a fine perfomance!
Other Maine players participating in the Boston University Open included: Matthew Fishbein (1.5 points, Open section), Aaron Spencer (3.0 points, U1900 section), Matthew Reale-Hatem (3.0 points, U1900 section), Brett Parker (2.0 points, U1900 section), Wesley Parker (0.5 point, U1900 section), Benjamin Hansel (2.0 points, U1600 section) and Colin Smith (1.0 point, U1600 section).
