11th Presque Isle Tournament Report

12.20.11 Seven players competed in the 11th Presque Isle Chess Tournament at the University of Maine, Presque Isle on December 17th, 2011. Roger Morin topped the four-player open section with 3.0 points in three games. In the reserve section, Arthur Ryzak scored two wins and two draws to take first place. Roger Morin once again outclassed his opponents to win the 11th Presque Isle Tournament with a score of 3.0 points in three games. Trailing Morin were Ray Haines (1.5 points), Lance Beloungie (1.0 point) and Roger Hardison (0.5 points). Newcomer to tournament chess Arthur Ryzak took first in the reserve section with 3.0 points. Tim Walker scored 2.5 points and Lois Morin put up 0.5 points on a draw with Ryzak.
