11.30.11 Election of the Maine Chess Association Policy Board officers and directors will be held beginning Saturday, December 3, 2011 through Sunday, December 11, 2011. All members who have currently active membership in MECA are eligible to vote and hold office. There are candidates for the officer positions of Treasurer and Secretary, and two candidates for Director positions.

Election of the Maine Chess Association Policy Board officers and directors will be held beginning Saturday, December 3, 2011 through Sunday, December 11, 2011. All members who have currently active membership in MECA are eligible to vote and hold office. There are candidates for the officer positions of Treasurer and Secretary, and two candidates for Director positions.

NOTE: only active MECA members may serve on the Policy board; if you wish to check your current membership status or renew your membership, contact Leroy Doucette by email (lfdoucet@maine.rr.com) or phone (207-797-4215).

The election will be conducted using the ballot document MECA Election 2012.

Instructions for voting are as follows:

1. Click on the Maine Chess Association 2012 Policy Board Ballot link below;
2. Save the document to your local computer;
3. Open the document and mark your selections or add write-in candidate names as desired;
4. Save your ballot back to your local computer;
5. After saving the ballot document, create an email addressed to MECA Secretary Leroy Doucette at lfdoucet@maine.rr.com and attach the saved ballot.

All ballots must be received no later than midnight (Eastern U.S. Time Zone) on Sunday, December 11, 2011.
