Spring Quad at UMaine Augusta

08.09.11 Barry Magda won the four-player, Spring Quad at the University of Maine in Augusta played on May 7th, 2011. Rob Shore put up two points, his only loss being to the winner and Ian Youth and Steve Kaluzynski rounded out the quad. There was also an non-rated section and a simul. Here are images and a USCF crosstable of the event.

Lemieux (left) plays Brian Roderick in the unrated section. The two players shared the point in this game and shared first in the non-rated section with 2.5 points apiece.


Martin Campbell finished the three-game non-rated section with a win over Demeka Roderick for one point.

Hi Roger, Thanks for the comment - webmaster Dan was copied in the same April 15th email which I sent to you and approx 75 others. Unfortunately, the date was rather hurried due to UMA staff schedules, hopefully next ones will get more publicity. Thank you for your interest in Augusta area events!

Why wasn't this event pre advertised on this site? When there is a tournament anywhere in Maine, please let Dan DeLuca put it up so we can play in it if we can....roger morin
