06.14.11 The 5th Annual ChessMaine.net Championship will take place this Sunday, June 19th at Colby College in Waterville, Maine. This year's event features three sections and includes a generous guaranteed prize fund of $1,100: Open 1st $325, Open 2nd $225, U1550 1st $175, U1550 2nd $125, U1250 1st $150, U1250 2nd $100. Considering the prize fund, outstanding playing conditions, free continental breakfast and on-campus dining this event has become one of Maine's premier chess events of the year!
