MECA Policy Board Chosen
01.05.11 Voting has been completed for the four Board of Director seats on the Maine Chess Association's Policy Board. The top four vote getters have been elected to serve a one-year term, effective Jan 1 to Dec 31, 2011. The new Policy Board consists of: Steve Abrahams (Bangor), Philip Lowell (Portland), Jon Malev (Scarborough) and Brian Roderick (Chelsea).

The declared and write-in candidates listed in order of votes received are:
9 votes Steve Abrahams (Bangor)
9 votes Philip Lowell (Portland)
8 votes Jon Malev (Scarborough)
8 votes Brian Roderick (Chelsea)
1 vote John Engle (Waterville)
