A Featured Game from the Seacoast Open
06.30.10 Former president of the Maine Chess Association Phil Lowell shared first place with Andrey Savov in the U1900 Section of the Seacoast Open played in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on June 5, 2010. In his first round game, Lowell (1884) pulled off a nice victory vs. up-and-coming Matthew Reale-Hatem (1588) of Cape Elizabeth.

I wanted to mention that the U1250 section had a clear champion in Maine resident William Bonney whose 1st tournamnet was last September at the Maine RBO at SMCC.
