Lisbon Community School Seeks Competition for Chess Team
09.22.09 The Lisbon Community School has a scholastic chess team in grades 4-7 that is looking for other schools to compete with. If you are a coach of a scholastic team or are willing to assist these young Lisbon chess players in finding over-the-board competition please contact Brian Hirst at bhirst@lisbonschoolsme.org.

we have a few gr5/gr4 children who like to play chess. most are just barely above beginner level...we meet on Wed and could have a tourney at Clifford school after school..3-5 pm.

Send me an e-mail sometime-we only start at the beginning of November and we will get together somehow. We do chess on Mon & Wed, but we have a lot of dedicated parents so we might be able to come down and play together.
