07.23.08 The 2008 Maine Girls Champion Sorel Edes will soon be making her way to Lubbock, Texas to compete in the Susan Polgar National Invitational for Girls tournament taking place from July 27 - August 1. Thanks to generous donations from many of our readers, including one from New Zealand, the financial burden of her trip will be eased a bit.
