Maine Chess Player of the Year 2007 Final Results
11.13.07 The final results are in and the numbers have been tallied for the Maine Chess Player of the Year 2007 competition. As we previously reported, Ruben Babayan of Portland took the title with 46 points. This marks the sixth time Babayan has either tied for or won the title outright. Trailing Babayan were Derrick Crocker with 42.8 points, Scott Overlock with 40.5 points, David Rice with 39.3 points and rounding out the top five, last year's Player of the Year, Lee Doucette with 38.5 points.
