Nathan Clifford Elementary Chess Club gets record numbers
10.16.07 The chess program at Nathan Clifford Elementary School in Portland is experiencing tremendous interest and record numbers of third through fifth graders. Chess instructors Frank Smith and Jon Malev are looking for volunteers to help teach, monitor and play chess with their students. The class meets Wednesdays from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the third floor auditorium. If you're interested come on by or contact Jon at jsmalev@yahoo.com
