03.30.07 The Southwesterns are coming! The Southwestern Maine High School and Junior High School Championships that is. The format of this event, held at Chererus High School in Portland on Saturday, March 31, 2007, will be teams of five-person matches and a four-round Swiss in the Reserve section. Come out for the Southwesterns!

Contact Ron Lewis (raltiger@aol.com or 781-3962 evenings) for entry forms and other questions. Format is 5-person match play for the HS Championship Section, and a four-round Swiss in the Reserve. A Reserve Section is open to HS and JH teams and individuals. Team scores in the Reserve Section are the sums of the top three players for each team. Time control is G/60 and the playing site is Cheverus High School in Portland. Trophies awarded to 1st and 2nd places for both team and individual events.
