WCCF May Swiss Tournament Report
06.07.07 Roger Morin made it three straight at the Washington County Chess Federation's May Swiss played at the Unobski School in Calais on May 19, 2007. Behind Morin's perfect 4 points were Thomas Harvey, Roger Peterson and Gregg Ross all tied for second with 3-1. In a suprising upset, Ezra Briggs beat his big sister Lily, the 2007 Girls Scholastic Champion, on his way to taking second place in the scholastic section. Ezra's other big sister Mary took first, and Arno Wirta third. Robert Harvey received the Top Unrated trophy for his third round win over Jeff Wheeler.

2007 Maine Girls Scholastic Champion Lily Briggs
This time Houston Ross is on the receiving end of the stare courtesy of Arno Wirta. The stare did not prevail and Ross won this game on his way to scoring 2 points in the tournament.
