I'm just a player who enjoys chess very much and has played in Maine for 42 years. I teach chess in schools in Houlton and at present one of my interest in getting on the policy board is to promote Northern Maine chess above the Bangor line. No one has ever has promoted
a tournament in this area to my knowledge. It's time to tap in to
Northern Maine. I am at present making progress in this field and to
have MECA as a helping hand would be appreciated.
