Maine Scholastic Chess Championships for Girls

February 11, 2012, Memorial Union, University of Maine, Orono

(Snow date, if necessary, will be announced later)

Format / Time Control: 4-Round Swiss, G/60 with 5 second delay; USCF membership required (see below). Sections: Championship and Under 600 USCF Rating.

Prizes: Trophies - top 3 each section. Every player receives a special participation medal.

Schedule: Late registration ends Saturday 9:00 a.m., first round 9:15 a.m., subsequent rounds as soon as possible. Closing ceremony will take place after last round.

Entry Fee: For USCF members with proof of membership thru date of tournament: $5 if rec’d by Feb. 1. For non-USCF members under age 24: $29 if rec’d by Feb. 1. For non-USCF members under age 15: $25 if rec’d by Feb. 1. For non-USCF members under age 12: $21 if rec’d by February 1. Add $5 for post-Feb. 1 registration.
