Maine Championship Enters Final Round

04.15.18 The Maine Championship being played this weekend at the Best Western Plus Grand Hotel in Waterville is entering the final round. The group of players in contention for the championship have been whittled to the two top-seeded players Matthew Fishbein and Jarod Bryan who are playing each other in the last round.

After four rounds, all players except two have been mathematically eliminated from winning the 2018 Maine Championship. The two remaining players happen to be the two top seeded players and the top two rated players in the state: Matthew Fishbein (2265) and Jarod Bryan (2247). One of these two will win the title.

Just off the leaders' pace are Ben Mock, Ben Amar, and Aaron Spencer who have amassed 3.0 points in four rounds.
